What we collect
When you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter we collect the name and email address you give us, plus anything you choose to write in your message. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, to deliver the newsletter if you asked for it, and to keep records of work we have agreed to do.
Business outreach
We sometimes contact businesses who have not contacted us first, to show them a redesign of their website. Where we do, the details we hold — business name, address, phone, a public contact email, and a review of the public website — come from OpenStreetMap, from the business’s own website, and occasionally from the business-data service Hunter. We rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) to introduce a relevant service to a business, and we balance that against the recipient by keeping volumes low, contacting a business at most once every 120 days, and honouring every opt-out permanently and immediately.
Concept pages
A concept we build for a business may include that business’s own logo and photographs, taken from its public website purely to show the redesign in context. These pages are unlisted, excluded from search engines, clearly labelled as speculative work that is not affiliated with the business, and removed on request with no questions asked. Email hello@devsagency.net and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
Contact-form and newsletter details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Prospecting records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. An address on our do-not-contact list is kept indefinitely, because that is the only way to guarantee we never contact you again.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. These measure page views in aggregate and are not used to build a profile of you.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us processing it at all — including any outreach described above. Email hello@devsagency.net and we will action the request. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
